Day 261: Playtime and Pasta

So I managed to meet my goal of getting up and getting ready before Little Buddy woke up this morning.  It was great!  I was able to get totally ready, get the dishes unloaded, and take care of the laundry without my little "helper." It was amazing how fast I could get everything done on my own.  We even made it to boot camp a little early!

After boot camp, we tried another local story hour with our friends and then we all went to lunch together.  It was great to see our friends again after missing boot camp quite a bit over the last two weeks.

At lunch, I made a comment about how Little Buddy never eats pasta.  He never has.  He will always eat bread, but he has never shown any interest in pasta.  He must have heard me and wanted to prove me wrong because, at dinner, he actually ate a few penne noodles!  I think he may have thought they were french fries, but I will take what I can get! 

"Yum, pasta!"

He didn't eat very many noodles, but I was still proud of him for trying something new.  We'll keep offering and see what happens!
