...hiding in the bathtub! Oh this boy!
I finally got him strapped into his carseat and off to school we went. He seemed a bit more amenable to the school idea as the drive went on, even saying that he was ready to go once we got there.
"Ready to go to school now, Momma!"
He was a little clingy right as we walked in, but quickly let go of my leg when he saw the play kitchen. He gave me a kiss goodbye and nary a whimper as I left. Yay! When I picked him up, his teachers told me that he had a great day, although none of the entire class had taken a nap! Those poor teachers! It worked out for me because Little Buddy fell asleep on the way home and stayed asleep as I transferred him into his crib. He ended up sleeping until 4, so I was able to get a lot accomplished.
This was also good because it gave him time to rest up for his playdate! Ms. C's husband is out of town, so we invited her and the girls over for play time and dinner. Little Buddy was so excited to play with C and N again!
Little Buddy and C hammering away at the easel. Yes, I said hammering!
Looks like N is having fun!
We had a great evening with our friends. Once they headed home, Little Buddy took a much needed shower and went to bed after a busy day. I think it is time for me to do the same!
Night all,
LBM
