Little Buddy didn't mind me holding Baby T at all, and actually would come up to tell the baby hi and to pet it ("gentle like the puppy"). Ms. T even let Little Buddy hold the baby.
Too adorable!
I was so impressed with how good he was with the baby. I know that he will make a great big brother some day! (Not in the near future, Momma's gotta finish her doctorate.)
After we all got some Baby T cuddle time in, we decided to go out and enjoy some lunch together. Little Buddy was happy to eat a quesadilla and spend more time with T. The entire drive home after lunch he kept talking about T and Baby T. It was pretty cute.
Following nap time, I checked on Little Buddy's rash. He had gotten a slight heat rash in his diaper during our Labor Day trip, and Daddy and I have been treating it and keeping an eye on it. It was looking a little worse for wear after Little Buddy's nap, so I made the risky decision of letting him go pantless for the afternoon. It seemed to help the rash dry out, but it didn't help my entry way rug which got accidentally soaked later (to be fair, he did go pee-pee in the potty one time too).
I'm really hoping the rash looks better in the morning since we are heading back to Ohio for the weekend! Daddy and I have tickets to the Ohio State game and Little Buddy will get to see his Mammy, Pop-Pop, Mamaw, and Papaw. It should be a fun adventure, but keep your fingers crossed while we fly! Also, my blog posts may have to wait until Monday due to our travels.
Have a good night,
LBM
