Little Buddy, T, and K, waiting oh-so-patiently for their food.
Besides the slow service, lunch was good. Little Buddy was especially happy once Baby T woke up. He seems pretty smitten with the adorable baby. Once lunch was done, we were all happily threading our way through the restaurant until Little Buddy smacked his eye on a table corner and then fell backwards, banging his head on the floor! It was awful, the entire restaurant heard his head smack, that's how loud it was. Little Buddy was inconsolable for a bit. My poor guy. Thankfully, it looked like there was no significant injury besides some swelling around his eye and a goose egg on the back of his head. I was still a bit concerned, so I let him sleep on me for his nap. It gave us the snuggle time that I had been promising we'd have and it let me monitor his injury.
Napping with Mommy
Three hours later, he woke up a little fussy, but otherwise seemed alright. He may end up with an impressive shiner though.
The swollen eye. And the goose egg on the back of his head is quite impressive. Poor guy.
Thankfully, the rest of the day was injury free. We had a lot of Little Buddy style fun once daddy came home.
Tickling his Popsicle after dinner. Yes, I mean that literally! He thought that tickling his strawberry Popsicle was hilarious...
Carrying around the peanut butter and giving it hugs. What's funny is that he doesn't even like to eat peanut butter that much right now, but he does love to carry around those containers!
Night all,
