Today Winnie the Pooh had to join us for breakfast. I believe he enjoyed his bowl of honey and cup of tea.
Little Buddy decided to start his day with his traditional banana, toast with butter, corn Chex, and milk. He and Pooh enjoyed their breakfast conversation.

After breakfast, we headed out to do some much needed errands at Target. The plan was to quickly do our errands and then head over to the mall to let Little Buddy play in the play area before meeting Daddy for lunch. Little Buddy wanted to wear his new hat (a green and blue patchwork bucket hat, size 8) and I let him. We had nearly completed our errands, which had taken us down nearly every aisle, when I realized that Little Buddy didn't have his hat! He had thrown it out somewhere in Target and we had to go back through each aisle looking for it! After our third round through the store, I gave up. I checked one last time with guest services. No dice, but I left my number just in case. Cross your fingers that someone finds it and turns it in. It's really hard to find hats to fit Little Buddy's cranium and I hate to lose one. Well, I hate to lose anything, but I really hated losing this! Especially because it was brand new!
Come back, hat!
Even though we used up a lot of time looking for the hat, we were able to make it over to play at the mall. Daddy met us and we all had lunch together and then walked (and attempted to "jump") through the mall for a bit. Little Buddy loved seeing the kitties and puppies at the pet store!
We dropped Daddy back off at work and went home. Little Buddy took a great nap and I was able to get ready for school. He was starting to get a bit cranky when we left, so I wasn't surprised when my husband told me that he threw a bit of a tantrum later.
"No, I don't want to take Chesney for a walk. I am just going to lay here and protest."
Other than that though, they had a good night. They did take Chesney on a walk and then played outside until it was time for dinner and a bath.
I am already starting to worry about tomorrow. I hope Little Buddy does better going to school tomorrow than he has been doing. Wish us luck!
Good night,
LBM
