Day 302: Pumpkin Patching, Cookie Baking, and Skeleton Time

The weather was still beautiful today, so we hopped in the car and headed to the pumpkin patch.  It was our first time at this one, but Little Buddy loved it!

Checking out the pile of pumpkins.

"I think this is the one!"

"Yup!  Mine!"

"Here Pop-Pop, hold on to this for me."

Train time with Pop-Pop and Grammy!

Daddy, Mommy, and Uncle C.

After the pumpkin patch, we tried out a tasty new Mexican restaurant before heading home for naptime.  Once Little Buddy woke up, he and Grammy embarked on some sugar cookie baking.  Yum!

Mixing up the cookie dough.

 Cutting out pumpkins!

The pumpkin-themed day continued with some pumpkin caring!  Little Buddy wasn't too sure about touching the pumpkin innards, but Uncle C made it much more fun by yelling, "Bye seeds!" every time he threw them in the bucket.  That got Little Buddy in the spirit!  He still wouldn't reach into the pumpkin, but he was willing to swat the seeds into the bucket.

Watching Daddy scoop out the innards.

"I'm not too sure about this, Pop-Pop..."

Swatting at the seeds.

"Bye-bye seeds!"

Little Buddy's finished pumpkin: A homage to Elmo, of course!

We finished the day by surprising Little Buddy with the new pajamas that Daddy, Chesney, and I had gotten...

The Bones Family!

I'm not going to lie; I love that we all have matching, glow-in-the-dark skeleton pajamas.  I have been jealous of Little Buddy's every year since he was born.  I am glad that Daddy and I get to join in on the festive fun!  Much love to Chesney who was mostly tolerant of the whole situation.

Night everyone,

LBM
