Day 284: Children's Museum and Heading Home

Little Buddy and I decided to try again to make it to the Children's Museum after our failed attempt yesterday morning.  As it was our last day in San Antonio, it was our last chance.  Little Buddy almost fell asleep again on the walk there, but perked up as soon as we got inside.  Boy, were we glad we went!  It is a great facility and Little Buddy had an amazing time!

Checking out the control tower in the airplane room.

Maybe he'll be interested in taking over the ironing sometime soon!

I cannot wait for him to be able to take actual lessons.  He looked so grown up trying to play!

This ball-airtube system was amazing!  Not only did Little Buddy love it, but I could have played with it all day (Daddy loved it too when he joined us)!

Chasing the balls!

Little Buddy raced these cars for nearly half an hour.  Ready, set...

Go!

The play supermarket was also a big hit!

We had a wonderful morning at the Children's Museum.  The activities were fun and engaging (perfect for little boys and their nerdy parents) and it wasn't very crowded, giving Little Buddy lots of opportunities to learn and discover.  What a great way to end our trip!

We left the museum, grabbed some lunch at a local deli across the street, and started our drive home.  Little Buddy slept a good bit of the time, which wasn't surprising since he has so much sleep he needs to catch up on!  It was wonderful to make it back to our house and Chesney.  Now I just have to start on all the trip laundry!

Good night,

LBM
