Day 296: A Very Merry Early Birthday

After a full day of boot camp, park playing, and new car buying (Little Buddy loves the new Jeep), we decided to have a little down time this evening.  Because my birthday is tomorrow while I am in class, we decided to have an early celebration tonight so we could all share in some yummy red velvet.

We also got to review our letter (D), number (4), and shape (circle) of the week.  I have been doing this off and on, but am hoping to make it a more regular part of our routine.  Little Buddy loved pointing out circles all day, counting out things in fours, and looking to see if he could spy the letter D while we were out and about.

Add that to the School House Rock CD we listened to all afternoon, and yes, you have a happy family of nerds.  We're ok with that!
