Day 300: Zoo Boo Fun!

Wow, I can't believe I have made it to my 300th entry!  It's hard to believe that there are only 66 more days left in the year.  Soon I will have met my New Year's Resolution of recording one full year of our experiences with Little Buddy!  It might be the first resolution that I've kept for the entire year.

I am so happy that our 300th day was such a memorable one!  Because Grammy and Pop-Pop are in town, we decided to take them to Zoo Boo at the Houston Zoo.  Little Buddy got to wear his pirate Halloween costume while having some zoo-rific adventures!

"Let's go explore more!"

Drum time with a princess!

Riding on the gorilla with Pop-Pop!

We even got to feed the giraffes!  Little Buddy liked seeing them up close, but he wasn't too sure about giving them the lettuce.

Little Buddy had a great day, and especially liked seeing the chimpanzees, the tigers, the snow leopards, and the African wild dogs.  Following the zoo, we finished up the busy day with lunch with Uncle Chad and playing around on Rice University's campus.  Naptime didn't go too well because he slept while we were stuck in traffic on the way home, so bedtime came a bit early tonight.  He didn't mind too much, though, because Daddy surprised him by wearing some new pajamas.

It was a wonderful day and even more fun because we got to share it with Grammy and Pop-Pop!  We are looking forward to more adventures tomorrow.

Good night everyone,

LBM
