Welcome to the world Cousin T!
After Momma's run and Little Buddy's swim class, we had a lot to do before leaving for San Antonio. Little Buddy was more than happy to help pitch in with the yard work.
Helping Daddy plant the mums.
"Time to tackle this front yard!"
"Yeah, Daddy, you work on that strip back there and I will finish up this stretch here."
Due to all of Little Buddy's help, we were on the road in no time. A four hour drive with a toddler is long, even when that toddler sleeps for an hour, so we stopped to stretch our legs at rest stop.
Finding some reading material at the rest stop.
We were all tired when we arrived to the hotel, but Little Buddy managed to summon some extra energy to go crazy in the hotel room. I think he thought he was a rock star. In any case, why aren't hotels offering "child-friendly" rooms yets? You know, rooms with no breakable items on low shelves, cabinets that have childproof latches, and skid proof floors? Would that be too much to ask? If we had rooms like that, maybe Little Buddy wouldn't have snuck into the bathroom, slid on the tile, and gotten his head injury of the day.
Today's bump. *Sigh*
Seriously, someone look into making child-friendly rooms. You would get all of our business!
Anyway, it's time for us to get some rest because we have Sea World in the morning. Wahoo!
Good night,
LBM
