Day 139: It's Apparent You're A Parent

It's apparent you're a parent when you walk into the kitchen and aren't phased to find that a toddler thinks that making toast involves buttering the kitchen rug as well as bread.

It's apparent you're a parent when seeing a toddler try to bite through an orange peel during a picnic is a normal, everyday occurrence.

It's apparent you're a parent when going to a concert no longer involves pre-gaming with your friends before the concert, but instead waiting on the babysitter to arrive so you can get to the concert right as it starts.

It's apparent you're a parent when instead of a late night out, you'd prefer an early night in so that you can get some sleep before your precious bundle of terror wakes up at 6 AM.

It's apparent you're a parent when none of these things bother you because you're just ready for the adventure that each day of having children brings!

Night all,

LBM
