Thankfully, he had another good day today! Actually, his teachers called it a "happy" day, which we haven't had for almost two months! Yay! Our day even got more interesting when we got home and found a new addition to our landscaping.
Hmmm...what could it be? A rock?
Nope, it's a turtle!
Will was fascinated by the little reptile, saying "Hi tuttle!" over and over again. It took awhile, but I was finally able to pull him away to get the mail. Lo and behold, he had a package from Grandma! We took it inside to open it and found...
Sesame Street alphabet and number cards!
But these weren't just any ordinary cards, oh no, they are vintage Sesame Street cards, the same type that I and my brother used to learn our 123s and ABCs! I had actually wondered if you could still find these. My mom stumbled upon them on Amazon and had to get them. I am so happy she did! I can't wait to use them with Little Buddy!
We spend the rest of our afternoon playing and waiting for Daddy. Watching for Daddy to get home is very serious business for Little Buddy.
Waiting at the window to see Dad!
Once Daddy did get home, I was able to get ready to go out and meet some of my mommy friends at The Cheesecake Factory. We had a great moms' night out and I am so lucky to have these fantastic ladies in my life!
Night all,
LBM
