Day 130: Chef Little Buddy

Little Buddy had a great day at school today!  No tears at drop off (just a quivering lip and a meaningful hug) and no tears throughout the day!  Yay!

Once I picked him up from school, I planned on taking him to either a splash pad or Wonderwild.  However, I then discovered that the sunscreen wasn't in the truck (ruling out the splash pad) and that we didn't have our extra socks either (ruling out Wonderwild).  Instead, we went up to Old Navy to run an errand (Little Buddy had a great time running around the store and even picked out a new Hawaiian shirt for himself) and Petsmart (where Little Buddy riled up all the dogs in doggie daycare, said hi to all the cats up for adoption, and was fascinated by all the fish in the tanks).  His reactions with the fish were priceless.  I wish I could have taken a picture, but I had left my phone in the car.  We'll definitely go back and try to get a picture!

Then when we got home, Little Buddy wanted to help made omelets for dinner.  He's quite the Chef!

Let's chop some vegetables together!

Here we go...

Chop, chop, chop!

Little Buddy loves helping in the kitchen!

The omelets were delicious!  We were excited that Little Buddy liked them so well; he's normally not very big on eggs.  But eggs with veggies, some cheese, and a bit of sausage?  Yes, please.

Goodnight,
