He really loved feeding the goats!
He loved them so much that he tried to set them free so they could come play with him!
Besides the goats, the petting zoo also had a llama.
Little Buddy wasn't too sure about the llama. It wasn't wearing red pajamas!
He did love test-driving all the different types of Cozy Coupes!
After lunch and a refreshing pink lemonade, we headed home. It didn't take Little Buddy very long to fall asleep in the car, which made me very excited for naptime. Surely he was tired enough today to stay asleep! However, 10 minutes before we got home, someone woke up. He had only slept for 20 minutes! He was still tired and a bit cranky, so when we got home, we went upstairs to try for sleep. Rocking, stories, lullabies...nothing worked. He was awake!
I managed to keep him entertained while I got ready for class. Right as we left to go meet Daddy, I heard thunder in the distance. By the time we made it to Daddy, it felt like we were in the middle of a hurricane! The rain was coming from every direction, and the thunder and lightening were intense. As Daddy took Little Buddy home, I worried how my little guy would handle the storm
It wasn't much later that my husband messaged me the following picture with the following caption:
"Is this what you were hoping for earlier? The rain put him to sleep on the way home!"
~Daddy
Seriously?
Little Buddy slept for almost two hours and woke up happy and refreshed. Imagine that. I've only been trying to convince him of that all week. Maybe now he'll listen!
Good night,
