366 Days with My Little Buddy: Day 197: My Super Pepper Picker and Cookie Maker

We actually managed to get up and make it to church at 7:30 AM this morning! It may seem a bit odd to be excited about this, but Little Buddy does so much better at 7:30 AM as opposed to 9:30 AM Mass, which we went to last week. Just those few hours make quite the difference in his ability to be pleasant and enjoy the service vs. running around, yelling like a mad man.

Once we got home, I came inside to work on school stuff while Daddy and Little Buddy played outside. Suddenly, Little Buddy came running in, very excited. It turned out he had picked a red pepper from the garden! He couldn't waste anytime in showing me the "peppa" and chattering on about it with glee! I was laughing with him when all of a sudden he bit into the pepper and started eating it like an apple! Daddy and I both laughed. Daddy had already rinsed it off, so we just let Little Buddy enjoy his pepper. He was done after several bites, but we applauded him for enjoying his vegetables.

Then, while I was working, Little Buddy prepared me a tasty study break snack. He's becoming quite the cook!

During my study break, we decided to take a quick family trip to the neighborhood pool. Little Buddy couldn't get enough swim time in with Daddy.

We completed our busy day by skyping with Mammy and Pop-Pop and Mamaw and Papaw. Little Buddy really wanted to show of his new Superman underwear. We got them today after church. He's not ready for them yet, but he was very insistent about trying them on.
