Day 167: Time to Swab the Decks, Mateys!

Today we were planning on going to see Uncle C's new apartment and lab, but he woke up sick, meaning we had another full day of pirate ship construction. Little Buddy was all about helping today!

"Here Pop, hammer like this!"

"What are you looking at?"

"Let me take this measurement before you make your next cut!"

After his nap, it was so hot outside that we decided it was baby pool time! Little Buddy had a great time splashing around and especially playing with the magic hose that delivered water to the pool!

After dinner, we decided to let Little Buddy don his captain's hat and inspect our progress today. We were going to let him slide, but all he wanted to do at first was run around the top deck at top speed with his water cup and hand broom to sweep up our sawdust mess!

He finally decided it was time to go down the slide and he, of course, had a blast! Now Little Buddy is in bed, undoubtedly dreaming of the return of Momma in less than 24 hours!

"Here we go!"

"I don't wanna go to bed Daddy!"
