Day 164: The Return of Grammy and Pop

Today was a very big day for Little Buddy: he got to see Grammy and Pop (or as he calls them, Mammy and Pop-Pop) for the first time since Christmas. He was so excited that he even stayed awake on the car ride to the airport after wearing himself out playing at the playground!

Fearless explorer has tamed the Giant Frog

After lunch at Little Buddy's favorite establishment (Jason's Deli,) we headed home for Little Buddy's nap. While he was napping, my dad and I got started on the pirate ship. His nap didn't last as long as normal, I am sure because he didn't want to keep his visitors waiting! Once he came outside, we got him set up with his workbench and new tool set.

Since it was so hot this afternoon, we decided to take it easy on Grammy and Pop and only work outside for a little bit. Little Buddy and Grammy went inside to watch Elmo while Pop and Daddy went to Lowes to pick up more supplies for the pirate ship. Unfortunately, as soon as we got there, a mini-hurricane hit and we were marooned inside until the weather let up and we could drive home. Luckily, Grammy was able to hold Will off with baby pizza and promises of turkey burgers once we got home.

After dinner, we got to talk to Momma for a few minutes before bathtime and bed. More adventures await tomorrow!
