Such was the case today. We went out to the splash pad at Market Street and Little Buddy had a ball running around and getting into mischief. After playing, we went to Cafe Express and an older couple made the mistake of sitting at the table next to us. Little did they know that Little Buddy would HAVE to show them his grilled cheese, his fruit and the sweet potato fries he begged off of Daddy's plate. He even tried to teach them the virtues of post-grilled-cheese high fives. I think they eventually just scarfed down their food to escape from the over-friendly toddler!
After lunch, it was a pretty typical Sunday. Little Buddy took a nap, then our neighbor came over to watch him with my brother and I worked some more on the pirate ship. When it was time to quit, Little Buddy came out to inspect our progress. I think he approves so far!
"Come play Daddy! I won't splash, I promise..."
Going for a ride on Earl the donkey (that's what we named him!)
Little Buddy's dream fantasy
Showing his newfound friends his awesome "gilled teeze"
"Pirate ship is looking good Daddy!"
Tomorrow is a big day - Little Buddy turns 2! I can't believe it has gone by so quickly.
Good night,
TWB
