Day 160: Bye-Bye Momma

Little Buddy had an early start along with the rest of us today since we had to take Momma to the airport. She is in Costa Rica for the next week plus for a grad school internship. In her absence, I will be guest blogging each day for her!

Little Buddy didn't want to let go. He is going to miss his momma!

After we gave Momma lots of hugs and kisses at the airport, we headed back home to get breakfast. After several diaper changes, we decided to head to the mall so Little Buddy could get some running exercise (it was too wet to play outside today since we got over 4 inches of rain yesterday!) He had lots of fun running around and playing. On our way out, we did another diaper change, which required us to go past the carousel. Big mistake! Little buddy is now obsessed with the tiger (he just keeps saying "ROAR, ROAR ROAR!" over and over again.) Since we were the first riders of the day, the lady was nice enough to let us ride twice. For our second ride, Little Buddy chose to ride Bambi.

For lunch, we went to my favorite Mexican restaurant, Chuy's. It is also Little Buddy's favorite, because he loves their fresh-made chips and salsa. He also got a special treat at the end!

Little Buddy decided to not cooperate with his afternoon nap and stayed awake the whole way home. After I finally got  him down to sleep, he took a great nap and slept for over 3 hours! After he woke up, we went to the grocery store, had dinner and took a bath. Now it is time to get rested up for more fun tomorrow!
