Terrorzing the fish.
I don't know why we spend money on kid's activity tables...
When all they really want to do is play with dog dishes!
We then headed to meet some friends for lunch. We went to a kids' friendly restaurant that I had been to before, but Little Buddy had not.
"Time to eat, Momma!"
The restaurant has a nice play place inside. This was good, because Little Buddy got to work off some extra energy. It was also bad because Little Buddy didn't want to stop playing so that he could eat! Add that to the fact that he was a bit late for a nap and you get a fairly angry toddler.
He was much better after we did get home and napped. He was so pleasant, in fact, that he helped set the table for dinner (we did decide to go with paper plates tonight).
Setting the table!
"Look what I did, Momma!"
He put the plates, napkins, silverware, and Parmesan cheese out all by himself, with just a little coaching. I was pretty impressed! It reminds me that he has the ability to do so much and that I need to keep giving him opportunities to show me that.
Night all,
LBM
