Take lunch, for example. Just when you think he's all finished and try to clean his plate for him, he gets upset and demands the crust to his grilled cheese!
"Waste not, want not, Momma!"
He also has to eat everything in a certain order. For dinner tonight, he wouldn't touch his peaches until he finished eating his bread and ketchup (I said he liked food, I didn't say his tastes were normal!). After those courses, we were very excited as he ate several whole pieces of steamed broccoli! This was quite the achievement because, even though Little Buddy loves the taste of his pureed veggies, he still is hesitant on textures of whole vegetables. I guess anything works as long as you can dip it in Ranch dressing!
Mmmm! Broccoli!
So much fun hanging out with him today. I'm slowing catching up on playtime and house work during my break from school. Next, I have to tackle picture albums and organizing the upstairs to be a better playroom for our little guy. Here's hoping we can get it accomplished!
Good night,
LBM
