Day 89: A Nice, Normal Day

Our day started with Little Buddy cheering me on through a formidable BBC workout.  It was tough to get through, but I certainly feel accomplished for doing it!  Afterwards, we headed to lunch with friends, and then went home where Little Buddy took a good long nap.  It was nice to get a lot accomplished around the house.

Once he woke up, we used another one of our Wonderwild passes to go hang out with our friends (only one left!).  While we were there, another mom walked in with her toddler daughter.  She looked at me and I looked at her, and we both thought the other looked familiar:  It was my freshmen year RA from college!  So random!  We talked for awhile and I found out that she just moved to the area recently.  Her daughter is just a few months younger than Little Buddy, so I see some play dates in our future.  :)

After playing with our friends (and finding Little Buddy's well hidden water cup), it was time to go home for dinner and see Daddy.

We then ended our day with some drool-y kisses (those second year molars are on their way in), a reading of Llama Llama Red Pajamas, and me rocking Little Buddy to sleep.  Normally Daddy does the rocking, but Little Buddy had settled into me calmly, so I got to snuggle him a bit.  A cozy end to a nice, normal day.

Good night,

LBM (Little Buddy's Mommy)
