Day 83: Splash Pads and Picnics a Tired Boy Make

Though Little Buddy tried to thwart me, we did make it to Boot Camp this morning (just a bit late).  After a tough workout, the weather was perfect for some splash pad fun.

"Where's the water?"

"There it is!"

Obviously, I don't give this kid enough to drink.

After the splash pad, we picked up some sandwiches and headed over to Town Green Park for a picnic with some BBC friends.  Little Buddy had a lot of fun eating and playing.  So much fun, in fact, that he fell asleep on the walk back to the truck, slept the whole way home, and then slept until 2 PM, before waking up and falling back asleep on me until 3 PM! 

Daddy came home soon and since it was Friday, we headed to our church's fish fry for dinner.  Little Buddy was especially excited to eat the hush puppies.

Delicious!

We finished the day with some work in the garden.  Little Buddy is getting to be quite the little gardener!

"Time to water my plants!"

"Hmmm...I know water comes out of here somehow..."

"Plants done Mommy!"
