Day 70: Rainy Days are for Napping

Little Buddy let me sleep in this morning, which is good because I was up late last night catching up on projects around the house. It is not a good idea to paint while there is a toddler running around, so I am now relegated to late-night latex application!

Anyway, when I went up to get Little Buddy, he was playing with his initials. He loves to play in his crib and sometimes it is hard to get him to want to get out so we can get breakfast.

"Hey Dad, are these my initials?"

"Good Morning Dad!"

After we ate breakfast, we went to swim class, then to Toys R Us (I broke down and bought him another Schleich animal. He now has almost 20, which is almost enough for an ark I think. The latest addition was a moose!

The whole stable of animals!

We ate an early lunch then headed home. Little Buddy fell asleep and luckily the rain stopped long enough when I got home to wheel him inside. Unbelievably, he slept 2 and a half hours before waking up, then another half hour on my chest before waking up!

Unfortunately, today was another rainy day. Although I am thankful for the rain, it stinks that it has to be this weekend. Little Buddy and I love to play outside in the backyard but toddlers, rain and mud don't mix well! We were able to sneak in a walk with Chesney in between rain showers this evening.

"Can we go now Dad?!"

That's all for tonight!
