When we got there, I realized that Little Buddy is starting to pay more attention to his surroundings. We needed to pick up some bread for dinner, so instead of taking him straight into Wonderwild, we ran into Randalls first. Oh boy, he did not like that! He threw quite the fit when he realized we weren't going into Wonderwild. After he finally settled down, we were able to get our bread. He was even in good enough humor to blow kisses to the cashier. Then I made the mistake of opening the truck door to put the bread inside. Meltdown! He thought I had just been teasing him with Wonderwild and was putting him back into the truck. He was so busy screaming and sobbing, he barely noticed I had shut the door and was walking him toward the front door of Wonderwild. Once he did notice, well, then you couldn't stop the smiles.
We had lots of fun at Wonderwild with our friends: Miss M came with E, Miss J came with N, and Miss T came with T. I know I say this a lot, but I truly am grateful for our friends.
After a good long play time, we came home and had dinner with Daddy. After dinner, someone was quite the mess:
Somehow we lost a shoe...
"Don't worry about all the food in my lap...I'm really cute!"
"Here, I'll even wipe myself off."
On his way to get ready for bed, Little Buddy and I had our nightly banister kisses. As he goes up the steps, he passes between each banister rail and leans in to give me a kiss. It is one of the best parts of my day and I have been trying to get pictures of it for awhile.
I love him.
Night everyone,
VTB
