After dropping him off, I came home and attempted to clean the house. All the days of paper-writing had severely limited my tidy up time. Today was also the day my husband was coming home, so I didn't want him to trip over any toys as he walked through the door.
A few hours later, the house looked much more in order and it was time to get Little Buddy from school! Our plan was to meet our friends at a splash pad to play (since off nap times and my school had prevented us from going all week), but the splash pad was closed. So no water time, but we did all meet up for a play date at the park.
Heading out on an adventure...
My boy!
Swing time!
Of course, Little Buddy managed to get pretty dirty at the park as well as scraping his knee in the driveway once we got home, so an early bath was in order. Right as we finished the bath, Daddy pulled in the driveway. Little Buddy was so thrilled with the news that he ran over to the gate at the top of the stairs wearing only his monkey hooded towel. Seeing Daddy at the door was just too much excitement: Little Buddy peed down the stairs! It was funny and frustrating at the same time. While Daddy and Little Buddy gave each other big hugs, I pulled out the carpet cleaner.
Following dinner and some more playtime, we took Little Buddy upstairs to get ready for bed. Daddy rocks him to sleep each night, so after we said prayers, I went downstairs to start on some more chores. Then I remembered that I wanted to get a picture of Little Buddy with Daddy, so I ran back upstairs. This is what I found:
My two favorite guys, passed out together. Love them both so much!
Night all,
LBM (Little Buddy's Mommy)
