Day 68: Ants (thankfully not) in Our Pants

Since I am going to be out of town for the next few days, Little Buddy and I started to the day with a run followed by another trip to the neighborhood playground.  He just can't get enough of that place.  After some trips down the slide and some general running around, he sat down very neatly on the step to drink some water.  I tried to get a picture, since he looked adorable just dangling his legs and sipping his water, but of course he moved as soon as I got the camera out.

After he recharged, we ran around the park some more.  He wanted to investigate the tennis courts so we walked over that way.  Of course, he then manages to find an ant hill by the sidewalk and before I knew it, he was raking his fingers through it.  The ants were not very happy.  Thankfully, I was able to get him up and away before they got all over him.  That ended our playground visit for the day.

We headed home for lunch and nap.  This nap thing might be becoming a habit.  Now I don't even have to take Little Buddy on a walk in the stroller.  I just lay him in his stroller, he smiles at me, and then he falls asleep.  Whatever works!

He did wake up crying after an hour and I ended up having to pick him up.  Of course, he immediately fell asleep.  Since I am going to be gone for a few days, I decided to just enjoy having him nap on me.  Again, whatever works!  ;)

After he woke up, we left to go meet my husband for dinner.  I had a professional development seminar tonight, so we ate out together, and then my husband took Little Buddy home while I went up to school.  He was so sweet as his blew me kisses bye-bye.

Oh, and as I mentioned before, I will be out of town for a few days visiting my best friend and my new "nephew".  Due to my absence, my husband will be my guest blogger for a few days.  Don't worry, the chronicles of Little Buddy will continue!
