Day 355: A Cold Day with the Ducks

A cold front moved in overnight so it was a chilly 45 while we were getting ready this morning.  I didn't mind the chill; it was kind of nice to actually have a cold December day! Plus I knew it would warm up to at least the mid-50s, so Little Buddy bundled up and headed out to enjoy the day.  We made it to boot camp and got a good workout in; it actually wasn't too cold in the sun and it was nice to run without any humidity.

After our workout, I had promised Little Buddy we could feed the ducks.  We even remembered our bread!  Unfortunately, the wind had started to pick up, so we had to feed quickly.  The cold seemed to make the ducks pretty hungry; I had to laugh as a horde of duckies followed us to our park bench.

Getting ready to drop some bread down to the hungry masses!

Loves watching the ducks!

He really bonded with this duck and wanted to give it all the bread.  The other ducks didn't like Little Buddy playing favorites!

Once we had distributed all our bread, we went to Market Street to run some errands and eat some lunch with friends.  Little Buddy was so excited to see Ms. T, T, and Baby T as well as Ms. J and K.  Honestly, he loves Baby T.  He is so gentle and loving with babies, makes me so proud!

Eating grapes while waiting for our friends.

Ms. J brought us some snow pants and boots to borrow for our Ohio trip.  We tried them on Little Buddy to make sure that they fit.  He loved them!

Hope we get to play in some snow in Ohio!

Speaking of Ohio, we leave on our journey early tomorrow morning: 4:15 AM!  We have to head to offsite parking, then to airport, then to Atlanta, then to Cleveland, and then drive to Canton.  There is a winter storm warning for Northeast Ohio tomorrow, so keep us in your thoughts.  It's been a while since we have driven through a snow storm!

Good night,
