Day 34: Raining on the Nap Parade

Today Little Buddy and I started the day with Baby Boot Camp followed by a few errands and then home for lunch.  He was having a bit of a rough day since both he (and his daddy) woke up with sinus congestion.  With as warm as it has been lately, allergy season is kicking in a bit early.  Sadly, Little Buddy seems to have inherited the same sensitivity.

Following lunch, it should have been nap time, but it was raining.  Rainy days are not good nap days for us because it means we can't go for a walk in the stroller.  Instead, we had to settle for a car ride.  We all jumped in the car and 30 minutes later we came home with this in the backseat:

That's right, an awake, snot-covered baby.  No nap.  Ugh.

We decided to eat dinner a bit early and attempt an early bedtime since a nap wasn't in the picture.  Little Buddy was quite happy to eat his pumpkin yogurt sooner rather than later:

Now it is bath and bedtime!
