Little Buddy playing while Daddy and I got ready.
The truck is one that Pop-Pop made for Daddy when Daddy was a boy.
Leaving Target with his newest acquisition...
Antlers!
"Helping" us shop at the Container Store.
He was adamant that we needed more wrapping paper.
Filling the cart with the wrapping paper became a favorite game. Thankfully, it kept him busy while we shopped!
After lunch and a nap, we were expecting our sitter to come play with Little Buddy for a few hours while I worked on homework and Daddy worked outside. Unfortunately, our sitter had to cancel, so we had to rethink the day (I guess I'll get that homework done eventually). We did get to watch the Ohio State game together as a family and then my husband and I decided to go ahead and give Little Buddy one of the items we had picked up today: a new car play set!
Taking the car up the elevator...
And watching it go down the ramp!
He loved it! I am so glad we got it for him. Little Buddy had been starting to get into his cars, but we don't really have a good area for him to play with them. He looked like such a big boy playing with play set! It kept him busy for most of the evening and he even had to show it to Mamaw and Papaw on Skype. We only got him separated from his cars when we told them that they had to go to sleep just like him. With that, Little Buddy tucked his cars in and we tucked him in. I am sure he'll be back at it tomorrow!
Night all,
LBM
