Yay Wheaties!
It still cracks me up that he loves it so much!
The rest of the morning went by in a blur because we were up so early. We ran a quick errand, went to church, dropped off some donations, and make it home for lunch. Then I went to meet Ms. L for our sewing class. We made pillows for our boys!
Our finished pillows! Naturally, Little Buddy's is puppy-themed.
It may seem silly to get so excited about a pillow, but I am not a crafty person. At all. I have basic sewing and knitting knowledge, but I don't really use it. I'm more of a cooking and baking kind of girl. However, I was so excited to make something for Little Buddy! I took it home, hoping he would like it. I presented it to him, he grabbed it, yelled "Mine!", and...
Ran off with it! He did call out "Thank you, Momma!" over his shoulder.
I found him in the big bed.
I guess the pillow meets his approval!
I then found out that, while I was gone, Little Buddy barely napped for Daddy. Crazy kid! He was so tired by dinner, he could barely keep his eyes open. Well, until he found out we were having chili (soup!). Because Daddy and Uncle C were brewing beer, we decided to eat outside.
"Why, hello there!"
Chowing down on his chili.
Gathered around the brewing station with Uncle C.
It was a nice night to be out together. Thankfully, Little Buddy was so tired by the end of dinner, it was pretty easy to get him to sleep. He was so cozy! I almost wish I could have just cuddled with him all night. I love this kid.
Good night,
LBM
