After all of the excitement last night, Little Buddy didn't get to bed last night until 2 hours past his bedtime. I was hoping he would sleep a little later but at 6:15 AM I heard him calling. Ugh. How was he not more tired? I was exhausted. He did act a little less energetic than normal and was up for some snuggling, so I declared today to be a lazy, pj-wearing kind of day. He approved.
"Come bed, Momma!"
We stayed home and colored, read books, and picked up the house. Little Buddy started showing how tired he really was and took his nap a little early. He was quite happy to go to sleep, but only after reading his latest book obsession, The Little Engine that Could. Or as Little Buddy calls it, "Choo-Choo, Can!!" He really gets excited when we get to the "I think I can" part. We read it after waking up, before nap, and then again with Daddy before bed.

Tomorrow we'll make it out of the house. Today was worth staying in for lots of cuddles!
