We ended up turning the insanity around by running some errands and meeting Daddy for lunch. I was proud of you, Little Buddy, for doing so well while we were out, so you got to ride the tiger on the carousel. You got a bit feisty during lunch, begging for Daddy's soup and not wanting to sit still, but nothing we couldn't handle. And, after everything, you actually took a real nap again today! That was a wonderful surprise!
After nap time, we painted in your Cars book, played with Matchbox Cars, and read some books.
My little artist!
Little Buddy, it is amazing how much more fun you are (and I am!) after you take a good nap. We're both less grumpy and ready to play. How about you make a good nap a part of your regular routine again? Pretty please? ;)
Another item of note today was that you were trying out a new name for me. Usually, you call me Momma. Today, for some reason, you went back and forth between my normal moniker and "Mom-Mee." I have to admit, I prefer your sweet voice calling for Momma, but I will take whichever title you choose. It was just odd to hear something different after this much time! As long as you don't start calling me "Mom" too soon, I will be ok.
Love you little guy,
Momma
(Or Mom-Mee)
