Day 5: Library and Playground

So some entries may be in the form of a letter...like today for instance. :)

Dear Little Buddy,

Thank you so much for a great day.  I always have so much fun with you on Thursdays.  On Thursdays we tend to stay around the house.  Today, after breakfast, we went on our 35 minute run and you fell asleep.  You looked so cozy asleep in your stroller.  After we got home and cleaned up, we went to the library for Toddler Time and you picked out your library books for the week.  It is so heartwarming for me to see you excited about books.

Then, after lunch, you helped me with the house chores.  Hopefully this helpfulness will last when you get older.  :)

What a great helper you are!  Your smiles and giggles over doing the simplest things always make me thankful for my blessings.  Once we were done with our chores, we decided to walk down to the playground since the weather was so beautiful.  Lo and behold, we found that you had the entire playground to yourself!  You were King and didn't have to worry about waiting your turn or being knocked over (maybe mommy was more excited about the "no knocking over part"!).

I am so thankful for this time with you.  I hope you enjoy it as much as I do.  Love you little boy.
