Day 15: A Glorious Late Start

Little Buddy slept until 6:45 this morning.  6:45!!!!  That means he slept for 12 hours!  That, in itself, isn't that miraculous since he normally sleeps 10 hours.  What is miraculous is that, since he slept in, my husband and I got to sleep for NINE hours!  That is unheard of!  I can't even remember the last time we slept so much.  It has to have been pre-baby.

However, even though we were so well-rested, we were unable to make 7:30 AM Mass.  Instead, we went to 9:30 AM Mass.  Sleeping in had messed with Little Buddy's nap schedule, which meant church was a bit difficult.  Thankfully we had plenty of energy to wrangle him.

The rest of the day involved cheering for the Texans (sad that they lost, but happy they made it this far) and playing with Uncle C, who came up to visit.  Little Buddy loves playing with his uncle and it is so fun to watch them interact.  We are so lucky to have Uncle C living close by as he goes to grad school.  With the rest of our family on the other side of the country, it's been great to have him close by.

So here is a quick peek at our day:

I love his scrunch face.

"What's the score?!"

My Little Buddy.  So grown up already.

Have a great night all,
