Day 11: 19 Months and an Androgynous Shirt

Today Little Buddy turned 19 months old!  It's crazy, I can't believe he's already 19 months old while at the same time I can't believe he's only been part of our lives for 19 months.  Our lives have changed so much (mostly for the better) that it is hard to think back to a time when our lives didn't revolve around this little guy.

All of this was especially apparent after visiting my friend and her two-week-old little girl while Little Buddy was at school.  The little one was so tiny and precious, it just brought back to mind Little Buddy's first days at home.  How much he has grown!  I don't realize the magnitude of all of his growth until I see another little one: from that little adorable, delicate bundle of baby has come a running, babbling toddler.  It has been a wonderful 19 months of change and growth for all of us.

Anyway, Little Buddy had school today.  While there, he got blueberries on his shirt so they changed him into his spare shirt.  It was his first time wearing this shirt, and when I went to pick him up, I noticed something odd...his shirt may be a girls' shirt!

I really don't care what type of shirt he wears, but I swear we bought this one in the boys' section.  However, the flare of the sleeve, along with the stars on the sleeve make me question it.  It was really funny because he has a hard time keeping his normal sleeve clean...there was no hope with flared sleeves!  Eventually, my husband and I just decided it is an androgynous shirt.  Little Buddy probably won't wear it again just because the long sleeves were continually dragged through his dinner.

Well, that is it here.  My resolution nearly ended tonight as I had already fallen asleep before my husband woke me to remind me to post.  Keeping this up for 366 days is going to be tough, especially once my semester starts!

Good night,

LBM
