Day 10: Toddler TV Tantrums

Little Buddy has a new word:  "TV."  If you want to imagine him saying it, imagine a little boy with a pouting lip pointing toward the television plaintively wailing for his mommy to turn it on.  It is crazy how insistent he was, especially since I only have the TV on for a bit in the morning to catch the news on the Today show and on again with Sesame Street while I cook dinner.  I shouldn't be surprised though, Elmo is toddler crack.  Little Buddy must be suffering withdrawal shakes whenever that furry little third person speaking puppet isn't around.  :)  It is so cool to see Little Buddy becoming more communicative and trying to tell me what he wants, even if it does include whining for "Mel-mo."

Thankfully I was able to distract him with some playtime.  Here he is, just a happy little boy working on his letters.  :)

Hugs were also abundant today.  I really can't describe how awesome it is when he wraps his arms around me.  Now, along with squeezing, he is also patting me on the back and cooing.  He just makes me so happy!

Night all,

LBM
