Day 161: The Perils of Counting

My wife and I (and most everyone else who knows Little Buddy) constantly marvel at his love affair with water. We often comment offhandedly that we should keep track of how much water he drinks (and consequently, how much he pees!) Since I had Will with me all day, I decided this morning that I would actually try to keep track of it today. Here is the tally: 13 hours, 15 cups of water and 17 wet diapers. That is quite a busy boy (and daddy!)

We had a fun day today. First, we went to Home Depot to make some returns on the way to swim class. Then at swim class his teacher told me that since he was doing so well, he could move up to the next skill level class! Then we went to the Children's Museum (which Little Buddy loves) to celebrate his friend O's 2nd birthday. He had fun playing with the firetruck and running around sweeping, although he is starting to get possessive of things he wants. I guess the terrible twos are in full swing! After the party, we went to a nearby restaurant to get a quick lunch before heading home. Little buddy was so tired after swim class and the party that he literally fell asleep at the table before we could get the check!

After his nap, Little Buddy helped me work in the yard, especially changing out the squirrel corn. After dinner, we decided to take poor, neglected Chesney on a walk. After an episode of giddy bedtime screaming, Little Buddy finally went to sleep and now it is catch up time around the house!
